Freedomhealthskin provides cosmetic and dermatology consultations and treatments from its clinic at 60 Harley Street, London.

Freedomhealthskin also provides remote services using online and telephone consultations to provide cosmetic and dermatology advice.

Independently regulated by the Care Quality Commission

Freedomhealthskin is part of Freedomhealth which is registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) the regulator of NHS and private medical providers, and as such we comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 which sets out the standards under which providers can offer medical services remotely. The Care Quality Commission ensures these standards are complied with. Our provider ID is 1-101727414.

Dr Sean Cummings is the responsible individual for the service from a regulatory perspective.

All the doctors at Freedomhealthskin are registered with and regulated by the General Medical Council (GMC) and as such comply with the Good Medical Practice Guidelines. Our Medical Director is Dr Sean Cummings, GMC number 317 1903.

Information you provide

You agree that all information that you provide to us will be true and complete to the best of your knowledge and that you will not fail to provide or withhold information that could reasonably be judged to be potentially relevant to us in the provision of any service/s.

Information Freedomhealthskin provides

When a Freedomhealth medical clinician prescribes or recommends treatment for your use that person is taking responsibility for your care, but you agree that no promises or guarantees are made, given or intended by the advice provided by the clinician who will have provided what they consider to be the best medical advice given the information they have. Remember that our clinicians will offer advice solely on the basis of information you have given so it is in your best interests to be as honest and full as possible in providing that information. You agree that Freedomhealth is not responsible for what you choose to do with any advice that is given by a Freedomhealth clinician.

Clinic appointments

The £100 consultation fee is payable upon booking the appointment, this can be paid by debit or credit card (we do not accept American Express).

Please note that whilst some treatment can be carried out during the appointment there are other treatments that require planning such as laser treatments and photorejuvenation treatments.

If possible we ask you to download and complete the new patient registration form before your appointment.

Remote services

With online consultations we aim to review your questionnaire and photographs within one working day and answer follow up questions also within one working day.

Charges and method of payment

The prices of all our services are clearly listed on this website. You can make payment for remote services using a valid debit or credit card. The consultation fee at the clinic is payable when booking the appointment and can be paid by debit or credit card (we do not accept American Express).

Refunds

Once payment has been received refund for remotes services cannot be made.

If you need to cancel your clinic appointment we will refund the full amount providing you give at least 24 hours notice of the cancellation.

Privacy and Data Protection

Freedomhealth and Freedomhealthskin complies with UK Data Protection legislation. Freedomhealth Limited appears on the Data Protection Register number Z8929096

Freedomhealth and Freedomhealthskin takes safety and privacy of your medical information seriously. All data is stored securely and no confidential information is sent by email.

Results and messages are sent in your secure 'account' to which only you, our doctors and authorised Freedomhealth and Freedomhealthonline staff have access. Messages are exchanged in the secure 'your account' part of the site.

To provide you with a good standard of care it is necessary that medical and non-medical staff at Freedomhealth and Freedomhealthskin have access to your account. However, we can assure you that no data or information is shared with anyone not involved with your care. All staff are subject to rigorous pre-employment checking including enhanced Criminal Record Bureau checks. When Freedomhealth and Freedomhealthskin performs an audit all patient information is anonymised.

Where photographs are uploaded onto your account you confirm that you waive any right to ownership of the photographs. You also confirm that you allow Freedomhealth and Freedomhealthskin permission to use them for training, research, or commercial purposes with the explicit understanding that any photograph will to be anonymised.

Feedback and complaints

We welcome feedback on our service. To provide feedback you can send a message from your account.

To make a complaint you can also send us a message from your account. However, to make a formal complaint you should write a letter to Dr Sean Cummings at Freedomhealth, 60 Harley Street, London, W1G 7AH. All complaints will be acknowledged within five working days. In the event that you are not satisfied with the response then you should contact the Care Quality Commission at the address above.
